Vistakon is currently recruiting for a Staff level Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomic Specialist for their Jacksonville, Florida facility.

To provide leadership and technical support for Ergonomics and Industrial Hygiene including chemical substance management and noise, Fall Prevention and other EHS support as required.
Ensure regulatory and J&J compliance with all Industrial Hygiene regulations and requirements. Ensure regulatory and J&J compliance with all Ergonomic regulations and requirements. Ensure regulatory and J&J compliance with all Fall Prevention regulations and requirements. Develop and provide training as required to support EHS compliance activities.
Additional EHS support as required including providing technical support to the Miami Lakes site.

Qualifications
This position will require Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety or related fields. A minimum of 6 years experience in Industrial Hygiene or Ergonomics or Safety is also required.
Experience with air sampling, Dosimetry and various IH monitoring is required. Experience with Ergonomics and ERGO tools is required. Experience in development and deployment of EHS training programs is required. Experience leading and/or influencing cross functional teams is required. Knowledge of Chemical Hygiene Plans in a R&D environment is preferred. Experience with Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients preferred. Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment including facilities maintenance and planning preferred.
Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Outlook is required.
