Description
- Create strategic road map for Quality Assurance within Neuchâtel plant aligned to both the franchise and sector objectives,goals, strategies and measures
- Provide quality assurance expertise and guidance to Neuchâtel plant in line with established company and regulatory standards
- Generate and share best practice tools for use inquality related matters
- Effectively integrate and utilize Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Quality Engineering and Compliance in support of Global Supply Chain and Quality Operations objectives and Quality and Compliance policies
- Assist in ensuring the safety, performance and integrity of products at all stages of the manufacturing, distribution processand end-to-end supply chain
- Develop and implement Quality planning to demonstrate and realize a continual improvement in product and service quality
- Responsible for developing talent within the Neuchâtel QA organization
- Focus on end-to-end supply chain continuous improvement opportunities
- Drive improved business results through capable end-to-end supply chain systems
- Ensure effective risk management to prevent unanticipated failure modes and ensure capability
- Develop and implement appropriate Quality Procedures
- Partner with distributors, distribution centers and affiliates to ensure the application of process validation, process control,and process risk management
- Implement and monitor process capability for continuous improvement
- Provide leading metrics to Quality Operations Director, Americas and EMEA
- Partner with Quality Operations to investigate and resolve Neuchâtel related quality issues
- Ensure effective change control
- Proactively communicate any changes in design or changes in process that could affect product design
- Function as the Management Representative Neuchâtel Quality Management System
- Have the necessary independence, authority and responsibility to initiate action to prevent non conformities, enact remediation plans, identify and document quality problems, initiate, recommend, provide and verify solutions to quality problems and direct or control further processing and delivery of non conforming product
Qualifications

· Bachelor degree in Engineering, Life Science, Physical Science or Business required. Higher level business or engineering degrees preferred
- Minimum eight years experience working in manufacturing related organizations
- Prior supervisory experience highly preferred
- Process Excellence (Lean/Six Sigma) Green Belt or Black Belt certified preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of QSR, MOD, IS09001,9002,13485, 14971 and other international standards
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing & Lab Practices
- Practical experience of Lean Manufacturing and Lean tools
- Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Minitab, Visio, Project)
- Effective communication and technical writing skills
- Effective people management skills to collaborate with direct and indirect reports
- Sense of urgency, intellectual curiosity, prudent risk-taking
