Ethicon, Inc. is a part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies. We are recruiting for the Clinical Training Resident Sales Program (CTR), located in Cincinnati, OH. We are currently recruiting for our July 2014 CTR class. The CTR will spend one year at the Cincinnati, OH facility and upon completion of the program the CTR Sales Program the candidate will relocate into the Pacific Region which is a California based sales territory.

The Ethicon business offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies-including sutures, surgical staplers, clip appliers, trocars and synthetic mesh devices-that are used in a wide variety of minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. Specialties include support for treatment of colorectal and thoracic conditions, women's health conditions, hernias, cancer and obesity. The Ethicon Surgical Care business combines products and services of two market leading legacy companies, both with long histories of medical innovation. Ethicon, Inc. based in Somerville, New Jersey, was founded more than 80 years ago as a pioneer in suture development and manufacturing, helping to transform the safety and electiveness of open surgery. Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. was created 20 years ago in Cincinnati, Ohio, developing innovative devices that have driven the revolutionary shift from open to minimally invasive surgery that continues to lead the industry today.

The Clinical Training Resident (CTR) program provides the chance to start a career in the very innovative, competitive and rewarding medical device industry. This role is a unique opportunity to obtain an entry-level position which will develop you for the highly sought after role of medical device sales. As a Clinical Training Resident, you will have the opportunity to learn the medical sales process from the inside by first assisting in coordination and facilitation of sales training to include sales process, marketing strategy, anatomy, surgical technique and more. You will also help to organize, set up and conduct surgical information sessions for key customers including high profile surgeons.

As a Clinical Training Resident you will be immersed in our sales training and education environment. You will be groomed to begin a successful medical device sales career after one year. Once you have completed this year in Cincinnati, you will relocate (with a company relocation assistance package) to an assigned territory within the US to get real field sales experience.

The Clinical Training Resident Program is reserved for candidates that have received a college degree within 12 - 24 calendar months of employment. Qualifications


To be considered for this role, A Bachelors or Graduate degree obtained within 12 - 24 calendar months of employment is required. Candidates must have the ability to relocate to Cincinnati Ohio or Somerville NJ for the duration of the CTR Program. In addition to the initial relocation to enter the program, candidates need to have the ability and be open to relocating to an assigned sales territory upon completion of the program. A valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States with a clean driving record is required. We will conduct a motor vehicle record check and a reference check. Qualified candidate will have graduated from an accredited university or college and have receives an undergraduate degree or advanced degree between July 2012 and June 2014.

The right candidate for this position will exhibit strong academic performance, solid extracurricular participation or work experience, demonstrated leadership, demonstrated sales skill and knowledge and excellent verbal communication skills.
