The Ethicon Surgical Care business offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies—including sutures, surgical staplers, clip appliers, trocars and synthetic mesh devices—that are used in a wide variety of minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. Specialties include support for treatment of colorectal and thoracic conditions, women’s health conditions, hernias, cancer and obesity. The Ethicon Surgical Care business combines products and services of two market-leading legacy companies, both with long histories of medical innovation. The Sr. Manager, EndoCutter Brand Marketing is responsible for creation, execution and oversight of the EndoCutter brand marketing strategies that will maximize profitability and share. EndoCutter represents one of the largest and most visible brands within the business and one with a very exciting pipeline that is well positioned for future growth. The Sr. Marketing Manager will be a key leader in the creator of the US EndoCutter brands success and will be adept at leading and shaping our future in endoscopic stapling. Responsibilities include delivery of product sales, forecasts based on procedure strategies, marketing programs and corporate operational objectives. Additional responsibility will include new product launches; collaboration with key customers and opinion leaders during internal and field based customer events; development and implementation of comprehensive marketing communication programs; conduct assessments on new market opportunities and creating new market entry strategies; assessing the need and driving the development of new clinical and marketing claims.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing business plans through marketing strategies, goals, and tactics.
Leading and Participating in KOL Advisory Management and Professional Education Collaboration.
Developing and driving marketing penetration for EndoCutter brand; while activating new demand from the targeted consumer
Partnering with cross functional businesses to maximize effectiveness of EndoCutter marketing plans and tactics
Forecasting customer demand and participating in development of demand forecasts across product lines.
Developing and making recommendations on the short term and long term strategy in EndoCutter focused specialties and product areas.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, MA/MBA preferred
7 years of business experience required; 4 years marketing experience required
Prior Medical Device marketing experience is required.
Leadership, influence management and persuasive skills- demonstrated success working with and influencing at all levels in the organization is required.
Strategic thinking, sound business acumen, and creative problem solving is required.
Ability to deliver customer-defined business solutions is required.
Manage complex cross-functional projects is required.
Ability to communicate complex technology to non-technical audience is required.
Product clinical and Procedural knowledge is required.
