Description

McNeil Healthcare LLC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting a Supervisor Packaging – 1st shift, located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL® acetaminophen products, ZYRTEC® and BENADRYL® allergy medicines, IMODIUM® A-D anti-diarrheal, MOTRIN® IB, and SUDAFED® nasal decongestants.

Manufacturing Supervisor under minimal direction performs all responsibilities necessary to provide oversight to the manufacturing operations which includes, operate and troubleshoot, set up, adjust, repair and maintain the equipment and manufacturing processes. This individual will provide direction and make decisions within the scope of the role and responsibility for a variety of tasks included but not limited to quality and compliance, technical and people management. This individual will provide leadership to ensure adherence to all safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures. In addition, the Manufacturing Supervisor will partner with the cross-functional team to execute the production schedule and fill in for the Business Unit Manager, when necessary.

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for the adherence and performance of the manufacturing shift to the Compliance, Product Quality, Customer Service and Cost goals. Will act as a mentor and coach in their functional area and for their team. The Supervisor is responsible to develop, train and educate the direct report and provide resources and support to ensure that they can execute successfully and in a compliant manner their goals and objectives. Will assist management through change and transformation activities, and supports strategic and tactical plans in alignment with site's mission and plans. The Supervisor is responsible to foster a climate of open communication, engagement and ownership within team, and build cross-functional working relationships. The Supervisor must attend GMP training on the schedule designated for their role and ensure that all their team attends this training as well. The Supervisor will seek prompt identification, reporting and correction of deviations in the workplace as noted by employees.

Qualifications


A minimum of 4 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with a Bachelor’s degree is required OR a minimum of a high school diploma with 8 years experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Business is preferred. Pharmaceutical/GMP experience is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Experience delivering results in a manufacturing operations environment is required. Knowledge of FDA and cGMP regulations is preferred.

The ability to interact, motivate and lead individuals in a manufacturing environment is required. Demonstrated analytical skills, process and data driven orientation, and the ability to effectively resolve technical issues is required.

This is a 1st shift position and will be based in Fort Washington, PA. The ability to work occasional overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed by business is required.
