[Responsibilities]

Purpose

Biosurgery is the business unit in the Global Surgery Group dedicated to provide bleeding control (hemostat) product. With its robust pipeline and huge market opportunity, Biosurgery has been identified as one of the growth rockets in the Global Surgery Business. Biosurgery has an exciting product portfolio and significant market opportunity in the hemostatic space. This key appointment is to lead the launch of a new biologic product and penetrate market with well-recognized existing product lines with a long history of proven safety & efficacy in Korea.

Strategic Marketing

• Assigns and reviews customer and competitor analyses in the areas of product preferences, potentials, sales coverage, market size, penetration, marketing practices
- Explores opportunities and prepares recommendations for global branding, positioning, and pricing strategies that deliver value.
- Analyzes and interprets complex market access data and feasibility research.
- Ensures the implementation and maintenance of key marketing vehicles that may include e-Business strategy, promotional strategy, services, forecasting, pricing, and business plans
- Manages product portfolio and seeks new product opportunities to provide a broad range of solutions to customers in surgical bleeding control field.
- Keeps following global hemostatic market trend and promptly adopts agile strategic directions to the local market.
- Segments & targets customers and procedures with new and existing products based on the strategic approach following site & situation factors of bleeding.

General Marketing
- Develops tactical tasks and objectives based on the marketing plan.
- Ensures successful event planning and management to showcase products, cultivate relationships, and creates awareness.
- Manages the budget spending and provides input for the budget.
- Initiates strategic pharmaceutical specialized channel optimization.
- Aligns & collaborates with local, regional & global marketing teams and with cross functional teams to execute launch excellence of new products.
- Monitors sales data and analyzes in-market sales trend.
- Understands & executes proper plans of reaction on complicated regulatory, quality & reimbursement regulations and policies of the government on pharmaceutical products especially for biologic hemostat products.
- Spends certain extra time to exploits her/himself to learn required multi-functional roles of marketing in highly pressured work environment.

Product/Brand Management
- Develops new concepts and approaches for professional advertising and promotional plans.
- Performs highly advanced sales and competitive analysis.
- Monitors implementation of brand strategy and makes adjustments as needed.
- Analyzes key performance indicators and financial reports such as budget, commercial policy, price, net sales, and investment level, and suggests improvements.
- Defines product criteria and characteristics.
- Establishes partnerships with medical societies, opinion leaders, consumers, patients, clients and other enterprises.
- Considered expert in field within the organization.
- Develops strategy for uncovering market opportunities by establishing priorities and recommending a process for obtaining intelligence information.
- Determines criteria used in screening new and existing product ideas.
- Evaluates and implements improvements for expediting new and existing products and programs.
- Builds inroads with key customer relationships and partnerships for market development and enhanced competitive market share.
- Forecasts demand and participates in review of sales forecasts for assigned product line

[Requirement]

- Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Consistent track record of success as demonstrated through annual performance evaluation
- Bachelor's Degree with above average academic standing, preferably with MBA degree.
- High potential with a minimum of 3 years of total marketing experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare industry, preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
- Good business acumen with strong analytical skills and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point) applications. Esp. expert on Microsoft Office EXCEL.
- Fluent English speaking both in writing & speaking skill is a must
