General Job Description:
Providing financial & / or accounting support in his / her area of responsibility
Financial analysis to assist departmental decision making
Financial reporting for area of responsibility
Main responsibilities
Note: Extent to which specific duties or responsibilities are performed is based on focus of services provided & area of responsibility
- Prepares monthly closing activities
- Prepare ad hoc spreadsheet analysis & presentations
- Assist in Financial Audits
- Support financial reporting activities for area of responsibility, providing accurate, timely & meaningful information to influence best business decisions
- Assist department expense & capital budgeting / tracking / reporting
- Assist month-end expense & cost budgeting/tracking/reporting
- Provide education on & ensure adherence to Internal Control Policies & Procedures
- Develops financial forecasts for plant operations
- Performs analysis of capital appropriation requests and monthly spending of approved capital
- Prepares balance sheet and expense account analysis
- Analyses/evaluates cost reduction projects
- Coordinate and execute special projects
- Ensure proper record keeping and archiving of financial documents.
- Performs cash flow requirements
- Supervise and coordinate activities related to A/P process
- Supervise and coordinate activities related to Mexican Payroll
- Complies with fiscal and J & J requirements.
- Compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities
-Follow J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finances, or Business Administration
- CPA or CMA a significant plus, but not required
- 2-4 years experience in accounting, finance or related field – depending upon area of responsibility
- Performance and present analyses.
