Description
- Execute R & D projects from exploratory to final launch by design, perform experiments and create associated deliverables and documentations; Supervise junior scientists by providing scientific and technical coach.
- Collaborate with global R & D team members in technical transfer and project execution. Work with cross-functional team members to ensure technical deliverables prepared on time.
- Provide data and documents to meet design control and quality requirements and support product registration in China and beyond.
- Work as the technical expert in hemostatic synthetic and biological products to support activities included but not limited to product scale up, product launch material preparation, Professional education and etc.
- Assist the project team in preparation for phase/stage review meetings
- Provide support to the management team on project updates / reports as needed.

Qualifications
- MS/Ph.D.and 5+ years relevant biopharmaceutical, medical device or pharmaceutical development experience is required; candidates with Bachelor's degree plus 10+ year of relevant work experience will be considered
- Solid experience in biological, medical device, pharmaceutical industries product development, medical device is required.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in biological product discovery, design and development, experience in hemostatic product is a strong plus.
- In depth knowledge and solid hands on experience in some of the following areas: protein purification, protein characterization, protein functional analysis, biological formulation development, analytical method development and validation and etc.
- Track record of successful design and development of biological products and bring the products to China or other markets.
- Good understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPD) cycle is a big plus.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes
- Demonstrated problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills both in Chinese and English
