STAFF QUALITY SCIENTIST (BUSINESS QUALITY)

Overall Responsibility
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the position provides an overview of quality compliance of Thailand Sale and Marketing Company. Engaged with Sale and Marketing team to ensure Thailand marketed product are launched on schedule and in compliance with local regulatory, J&J requirements, GMP, Safety Health, Environmental and cooperate quality standard from product importation through to commercialization and distribution.
Principal Responsibilities
1.
Manage Q&C system, process in Sale and Marketing Company according to Thai-FDA regulatory, J&J policy and requirement, regional procedures and GMP related standards.
2.
Develop process and implement Q&C system thought out the Sale and Marketing Company and at business partner in Thailand.
3.
Managing new product introduction (Thailand marketed product)
-
Attend local Task Force meeting (as assigned franchise)
-
Contact manufacturing sites for update product information
-
Review FAI sample, ensure code date coding pattern is consistent with the product label claim, and ensure product meet all Thai-FDA and J&J requirements. Provide feedback to the manufacturing site.

Ensure re-dressing sand repackaging product meet quality and regulatory compliance.

Coordinating with Manufacturing site for transportation test and inform inspection results to all related persons
-
Coordinating with Manufacturing company for investigation report of quality issue from imported goods or from transportation test
-
Prepare local APR and ensure all documents are available before product launch.
4.
Managing promotion packaging practices
-
Ensure all promotion packaging design, artwork, belt promotion, code date format meet all Thai-FDA and J&J requirements.

Ensure promotion packaging design will not cause potential mixed-up
-
Partner with CLS Q&C and supply chain to ensure repacking and relabeling requirement for FG is done before starting work

Ensure APR approval before promotion items release
5.
Managing Distributor
-
Audit and manage local distributors in meeting to GMP, local regulatory and J&J standards.

Follow up audit for distributor and ensure the action is closed effectiveness
-
Ensure non-conformance and change control management process.
6.
Change Control Managing
-
Product information change management e.g. shelf life, artwork, packaging, mfg site change.
7.
Symphony system which includes audit module, NC/CAPA
-
Upload all NC/CAPA related to Sale and Marketing Company into the symphony system and ensure the closure within specified timeline.

Upload audit reports and AAP into Symphony system
8.
Consumer Response System (CRS) is a system of complaints vigilance management.

Review and agree the investigation for complaint from Manufacturing site
9.
Q&C Report
-
Q&C Monthly report preparation
-
Q&C Management Review of Sale and Marketing Company conduct.
10.
LCM (Laos-Cambodia-Myanmar) Project
-
Attend project meeting and make recommendation/suggestion as per Q&C perspective
-
Review FAI sample, to ensure compliance of product to local regulatory and J&J requirements prior to release to market.

Prepare local APR and ensure all documents are available before product launch.
Key Result Areas

100 % products launched on time with all requirements compliance.

QSCAN of S&M Company and DC are in “Green rating” and mitigation close on time.

95% NC/Complaints closure on time

Internal Audit conducted as annual plan.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality
- Extensive on Quality Auditing experience in a consumer product, pharmaceutical and medical device would be advantage.
- Exposure to quality standard i.e. ISO, GMP, GDP, RA requirements
- Good knowledge of GMP and/or equivalent Quality Assurance Systems
- Strong communication skill with leadership abilities.
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both English and Thai in speaking, reading, and writing together with computer literacy.
