Position Overview
Janssen Inc. is looking to fill a Submission Coordinator role in our Market Access Department located in Toronto, Ontario. The Submissions Coordinator will work in the Submissions Centre of Excellence team to manage coordination & preparation of product submissions to Public and Private Insurance payers. This position is also responsible for the communication of Safety Updates, Public Advisories, product announcements, product changes and product discontinuations to all payer customers.
Key responsibilities:
Partnering with Health Economic and Reimbursement teams to plan, organize, assemble and file reimbursement submissions to all provincial and Third Party Payer customers according to agreed timelines, payer requirements and departmental standards.
Representing Access on cross-functional product operational team meetings to ensure necessary submission components are obtained in a timely manner from internal customers.
In partnership with Health Economics and Reimbursement teams, drafting selected submission components.
Achieving Submissions Quality Assurance by ensuring timely delivery to external customers, and managing final review of binders/documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Managing translation of certain components of submissions through Janssen Linguistic Services.
Drafting and coordinating correspondence to customers regarding company issued Public Advisories, Safety Updates, Dear Healthcare Professional Letters, Product Discontinuations and Product Changes.
Serving as divisional resource for current and accurate knowledge of all payer requirements for drug reimbursement submissions.
Maintaining accurate records of all customer correspondence to ensure business continuity.
Building tools and implementing processes to increase efficiencies in the submission production process.
In partnership with the Director, Submissions, leading production of generic drug submissions.
Support the Product Listing Agreement (PLA) Centre of Excellence as needed
Qualifications
University degree or relevant work experience
Excellent organizational skills with superior attention to accuracy, detail and deadlines
Ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment
Experience preparing pharmaceutical reimbursement submissions, an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
Excellent interpersonal skills
A strong team player with initiative who will collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders & teams
