Neutrogena Corporation, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Quality Assurance, MPS and Retain Team Lead located in Los Angeles, CA.

The Quality Assurance Team Lead will be responsible for leading the administration of site Marketed Product Stability (MPS) and sample retention process for raw materials and finished goods for the Los Angeles Plant. This individual will be expected to comply with J&J local and regional policies, procedures, and quality standards, as well as safety and environmental regulations. This individual will manage and mentor QA Specialist(s) to maintain and track on-going stability studies and review generated data in a timely manner in addition to sample retention process. S/he will collaborate with internal and external business partners to manage and improve stability and sample retention processes. S/he will maintain and report required stability program metrics to be reported to management periodically. This individual will assist in preparation of the stability section of the Annual Report and Annual Product Review as needed. The Quality Assurance Lead will audit stability data and sample retentions as needed. Provide guidance in resolving stability issues, compliance problems or questions which arise. Assist in investigating OOS/OOT stability results. Escalate any stability concerns identified in timely manner. Have working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 210 and 211, cGMP, and ICH guidelines related to stability.

Participate in regulatory/corporate inspections as required. Ensure quality and compliance in all actions by: Attending cGMP training as appropriate for role, adhering to strict compliance with procedures applicable to role, exercising the highest level of integrity in the tasks performed, identifying, reporting, and seeking correction for deviations noted in the workplace, in a timely and prompt manner, embracing a behavior of employee involvement and commitment to doing the job right the first time.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific disciplines is required. A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an FDA regulated industry (consumer products or pharmaceuticals) is required. Experience conducting, executing, and leading investigations; i.e. non-conformance is highly preferred. Strong communication skills, verbal and written are required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. The ability to manage complexity in a cross-functional matrix environment is required. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required. This position is located in Los Angeles, CA and may require up to 20% travel.
