OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
Positions at this level are professionals, who are team members of critical initiatives, lead critical new product development packaging or process related projects, has a diversified wealth of knowledge of technical principles and practices in broad areas, often serving as team leaders on critical projects, manage "end to end" process of packaging development projects including New Product Development/Introduction launches, Technology Transfers, Cost Improvement Projects, Plant initiatives and compliancy projects. This position often provides instruction or supervision to lower-level engineers and professionals, and/or manage routine processes and sets of tasks, and collaborate with multiple functions/ key task force teams to deliver critical projects or initiatives.
PRINCIPAL RESPOSIBILITIES;
- Plan and organize projects, driving across multiple subject areas, defining scope, range, and problem resolution methods / techniques.
- Often participate in and lead cross-functional project teams, manage processes and ensures that activity goals are achieved.
- Works within specific franchise with oversight for individual projects, usually parts of larger initiatives.
- Lead and supervise small professional staff / resources for projects
- Uses expertise to improve operational efficiencies and meet compliance requirements. Ensure that packaging development requirements are well defined, planned, documented and executed according to design, technical specification, GMP, Safety Health and Environmental and corporate quality standards.
- Contribute as technical expert in packaging supplier development, to reduce packaging material related Non-Conformance and Corrective and Preventive Action. Compiles and analyzes data, identifies causes, draws conclusions, generates reports.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Deliver project target date as assigned.
- Complete documents as required in SOP
- Able to supervise the subordinate on their tasks

Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree of Packaging Technology, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 3 year professional experience in packaging industry field preferable in various packaging material, machine technologies.
- Good knowledge in packaging material and technology
- Good knowledge in packaging design, qualification and trouble-shooting
- Good knowledge in mold and molding technology.
- Good knowledge in Printing technology & artwork.
- Good knowledge in Packaging machine and validation process (filling, capping, labeling etc)
- Good knowledge in packaging test method
- Computer skills; MS office and AutoCAD
- Excellent command of both Thai and English languages in speaking, reading, and writing
LOCATION:
This position will be based in J&J Thailand office in Latkrabang Industrial Estate.
