Neutrogena, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Global Health Services, Occupational Health Site Lead, to be located in Los Angeles, California.
Neutrogena Corporation develops, manufactures and markets premium skin and hair care products sold worldwide and recommended by medical professionals. The product line includes bar and liquid cleansers, shampoo, hand cream, body lotion, facial moisturizers, sun protection and cosmetics, as well as other hair and skin care products recommended, used and prescribed by dermatologists.
The GHS Site Lead will manage a cross function health and wellness team at a single site or multiple near proximity sites and is responsible for the provision of Global Health services including Occupational Medicine, Wellness & Health Promotion programs and Employee Assistance programs. S/he directly supervises Occupational Health Nurses, administrative staff and occupational health technicians working in clinical settings at their location(s). S/He is accountable for the overall success of health programs delivered by vendors in the areas of wellness, fitness and employee assistance. S/he assumes site level stewardship and is accountable for the deployment and performance of Global Health and Wellness strategies, policies and standards for occupational health, wellness & health promotion and employee assistance programs for all employees in businesses their location(s) support.
The GHS Site Lead will periodically interface with business leaders at their facility. S/he will be a key liaison with EHS, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and operational leadership at a single location level. S/he may interface with external groups and agencies. H/She is accountable for successful implementation of all GHS services (EAP, Wellness & Occupational Health) by applying centrally developed strategies, resources and tools locally. The GHS provides clinical healthcare services including: Nursing care for Injuries & illnesses, Case Management of Occupational Injuries and Illness, Medical Surveillance examination and general health education and coaching. H/She is responsible for compliance associated with occupational health at the locations they support including, compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and recordkeeping and J&J global health standers and accountable for leading their team and local BBHR, site managers, EHS, and other stakeholders and in the local application of a health and wellbeing strategy for their location(s) and leads a team of healthcare, wellness and mental health professionals who will execute on that strategy. H/She drives increased health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing and is accountable for delivery of agreed-to regional Health metrics and outcomes.
The GHS creates value by driving greater efficiency and standardization in the deployment of GHS resources, processes, procedures and programs using a regional construct and continuously monitors all aspects of site GHS performance, providing direction to their staff and vendors providing wellness services at their locations. H/She leads the talent acquisition, development and management process for their staff, provides GHS technical assistance and support as needed across all campus locations and periodically engages business leaders to review Global Health performance and compliance. H/She is responsible for development and meeting site budget expectations and fosters an atmosphere of openness and information sharing in order to encourage a culture of high awareness, transparency and diligence with respect to GHS matters.
The GHS should possess business acumen and customer sensitivity, outstanding leadership; ability to gain trust and influence at all levels; collaborative and effective team development capability. H/She should be a strong communicator who is credible and self-assured; strong technical skills with strong compliance orientation and the ability to work in a matrix, team oriented environment. The person in this role will also have a part-time OHN reporting directly into them.

Qualifications
The following experiences are required: Licensed RN, NP, or PA in the state where their location is located (additional out-of-state licenses may be required for support needs); 3-5+ years of relevant experience in occupational health.
The following experiences are preferred: University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical/science field; Bachelor of Science Nursing; COHN or COHN-S certification or equivalent; and Supervisory experience and outstanding Leadership.
This position is located in Los Angeles, CA and requires up to 20% domestic travel.
