We are seeking a Sales Consultant to develop and grow orthopaedic sales within the extremities division in the South Coast region.
Responsibilities:
Achieve business goals in line with J&J CREDO Values
Sell shoulder portfolio and services to orthopaedic surgeons, theatre staff and non clinical stakeholders such as procurement
Maintain and grow the business as defined by the individual territory business plan and sales growth targets
Increase market share of portfolio on territory
Proactively build and develop relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
Develop a portfolio of territory key opinion leaders across the product portfolio
Attend appropriate theatre lists in all territory accounts with appropriate surgeons to maintain and drive sales in line with business objectives in those accounts
Drive the commercial proposition across the territory by building effective relationships with procurement / financial stakeholder customers
Presentation of products in hospital meetings and exhibitions
Timely completion of business reporting and administration
Job Scope:
No Direct Reports
Field Sales based travel within the defined territory
Sales Coverage and Support off Territory as required by RBM/BUD
Some occasional international travel required
Budgetary Responsibility as defined by RBM
Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications:
Essential: Successful track record in selling. Preferably within a theatre environment
Desirable: Relevant experience in health sciences/anatomy and/or arthroscopy experience with buying groups, procurement managers
Knowledge:
Essential: Working knowledge of NHS and recent changes
Desirable: A degree in business/technology/science/sports science discipline
Skills and Aptitudes:
Good interpersonal skills
Computer Literacy & Management of CRM System
Numeracy
Key Account Management/Planning
Good Presentation skills
Knowledge of buying groups, procurement-existing knowledge and relationships
Effective Negotiator

Job Requirements:
Applicants must live on patch or be willing to relocate to commence post
Field Based role, requires daily travel within territory
Some overnight stays may be required to service the territory
The post will require some international travel on occasion
This is a full time post
Provide coverage and support on another sales territory as required by RBM/BUD
EHS requirements:
Attendance at product/marketing update sessions
Attendance at required company training meetings
Attendance at Regional Meetings and Company Conferences
Participation at periodic sales and product knowledge calibration exercises
