The Program Manager - Quality Strategy & Analytics is responsible for leading and implementing key global Quality programs including managing resource requirements, timeline and change management tools for DePuy Synthes. Utilizing their business, leadership and technical skills, the Strategy and Analytics Program Manager will leverage internal and external data base and formulate business case and improvement strategies by enlisting and influencing cross-functional teams, delivering tangible business results through the application of FPX, Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and tools. This individual will also be responsible for leading transactional lean projects that will drive efficiency through identification and simplification of key quality business processes. In this role, he/she will lead and support all activities related to key Quality Supply Chain Strategies i.e. network optimization, supply chain optimization programs, sourcing strategies as it relates to manufacturing etc.

The Program Manager - Quality Strategy & Analytics will develop relevant business case leveraging internal and external data base. He/she will lead identification and implementation of Quality efficiency opportunities. One will facilitate development and execution of targeted change management strategies. Conduct data analytics and formulate improvement strategies. He/she will lead Integration Global Quality Programs including managing resource requirements, timeline and change management tools as well as leading implementation of key global quality process improvement initiatives/projects. One will collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple functions and sites. Follow and observe all regulatory requirements (GMP’s, ISO, FDA, internal policies) applicable to area of responsibility. Also, comply with J&J Safety Requirement and safe working conditions and practices in the department. Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned.

Qualifications


To be considered for the role a minimum of a Bachelor degree is required in an Engineering or Science discipline. 8+ years overall business experience with a minimum 5 years in manufacturing is required. 2+ years of experience in successful prior leadership, deployment of Lean Principles and re-engineered manufacturing and transactional processes. 2+ years in Project Management and strong cross-functional business acumen is required. Black Belt Certification in Lean or Six Sigma required (Master Black Belt preferred). Experience working in a Global Matrix organization preferred. Able to deliver oral and written communications around process improvement projects that has clarity and impact. Organized, analytical approach to problem solving. Some familiarity with FDA, GMP and ISO requirements. Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Visio. Working knowledge and demonstrated ability in project management. Ability to audit production areas identifies non-compliance to requirements, and develop/oversee action plans for corrective action. An in-depth knowledge of such matters such as labor relations, manufacturing methods, production planning and assembly. In-depth understanding of accounting (standard cost), QSR/ISO requirements, trend analysis and failure rate analysis. An in-depth understanding of production and quality control techniques such as CFM, JIT, TQM, CIM, etc. Must understand and have ability to analyze market requirements and opportunities for product lines. Ability to understand and translate customer needs (explicit and implied); customer facing metric development.

The preferred DePuy Synthes location for this position is in West Chester, PA; however other locales considered are Raynham, MA, Warsaw, IN, Monument, CO, and/or Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The position will require up to 40% travel (some international) based on business needs.
