Based in our headquarters in Zuchwil, Solothurn we are looking for a highly committed

Principal Engineer – Quality Strategies & Analytics

Your main tasks will include:

- Conduct Data Analysis and formulate Improvement Strategies
- Lead Integration activities related to Quality Strategic Roadmap including managing resource requirements, timeline and change management tools
- Implement and enable Quality OGSM and Program Portfolio Management Process
- Facilitate integration of key J&J Enterprise Programs i.e. JJPS, JJSPC
- Develop analytical and project management capabilities i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, FPX, ASQ etc.
- Lead implementation of key global quality process improvement initiatives/projects
- Collaborate and partner with stakeholders across multiple functions and sites
- Provide necessary training and mentoring on analytical skills i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, FPX etc.
- Follows and observes all regulatory requirements (GMP’s, ISO, FDA, internal policies) applicable to area of responsibility
- Comply with J&J Safety Requirement and safe working conditions and practices in the department
- Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

Qualifications


- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; an academic major in Engineering or Science
- Experience in six sigma and Lean methodologies, Project Management and strong cross-functional business acumen
- Organized, analytical approach to problem solving. Some familiarity with FDA, GMP and ISO requirements. Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Visio. Working knowledge and demonstrated ability in project management
- Able to deliver oral and written communications around process improvement projects that has clarity and impact
- Medical device and/or pharmaceutical experience are preferred. Experience in managing and/or in performing audits is preferred
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills (written and verbal) is required
- Other than English, the ability to communicate in German and other languages is preferred
- ASQ and Six-Sigma/Lean Certification preferred
