Main responsibilities:
- Manages finished goods & materials management activities which include the receiving finished goods, the warehouse and inventory control operations, and the distribution to the customers. Applicable with own logistics operations or 3PL’s operations.
- Ensures FG availability, timely distribution and customer satisfaction. Supervises material handling and distribution staff.
- Responsible for supervising day-to-day warehouse functions including receiving, order picking and packing, shipping, delivery to customers and warehouse maintenance.
- Responsible for the administration and control for the budget in Distribution Cost, including Stock & Shipping and Freights expense annually. Monitors expenditure of Department's budget allocations.
- Develops and implements warehouse & transportation service policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures
- Responsible for all requirements of Quality & Compliance, EH&S, Security, Internal Control and SOX related with own logistics operations or 3PL operations.
- Manages the material management of raw materials and warehousing of finished goods through subordinate. Oversees day-to-day warehouse workflow. Assigns projects and evaluates resource allocation to determine appropriate staffing levels.
- Manages daily operation of transportation services through subordinate (Carriers or 3PL’s). Reviews collection of loss/damage claims/insurance settlements for all shipments to the customers.
- Manages the delivery scheme for materials and finished goods. Keeps track of inventories (raw materials, intermediates and finished products), and ensures the material availability when needs - Initiates and implements. Extensible responsibilities for the inventories in external manufacturers. Manages the process of warehousing of finished goods from factory, filling orders, shipping and delivery of merchandise to sale warehouse, wholesale or retail outlets and customer. Facilitates the logistics.
- Approves all purchase orders and service agreements within authorized limits. For all services related with Stock & Shipping and Freights.
- Cooperates with relevant department to arrange the raw material inventory, inventory levels and delivery times, and establishes alignment with the other supply chain partner
- Analyzes changes in the inventory of material and finished goods relating to supply, demand and pricing. Communicates relevant information to appropriate management and sales department.
- Resolves difficult problems and customer complaints.
- Maintains relationships with key customers through frequent meetings to review the KPI. Responsible for the indicators: OTIF, On Time Delivery in FTL, On Time Delivery in LTL, Lead Times and POD’s (Proof of delivery), Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), MAP’s in Q&C, MAP’s in EH&S, Distribution Cost (% of NTS).
- Examines reports on the results from the periodic inventory of warehouse items. Cycle count inventories and Physical inventories (Wall to Wall). Ensures discrepancies are addressed and resolved.-Collaborates with other relevant departments to establish projected workload and timelines for planning purposes.
- Solicits information on major upcoming production events and negotiates parameters of special projects such as promotional mass distributions
- Provides input to and approves procedures for the safe storage and movement of material and finished goods in and out of the warehouse. Reviews safety and environmental reports to confirm compliance.
- Establishes department goals and metrics. Uses productivity data to assess progress and prepares status reports for management.
- Establishes and monitors department budget and adherence to cost controls
- Responsible for the destruction process for raw materials and finished good.
- Effectively manages scope of work among team members and within a function/department. Assigns appropriate responsibilities and tasks to team members. Identifies strengths, capabilities, developmental areas for team members. Builds solid informal and formal working relationships with others by seeking and offering insights and collaboratively solving problems. Defines personal annual objectives, metrics and performance conversations for all members of the team.

Qualifications


Qualifications:
- Professional degree: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, etc.
- 10 years Prior experience Managing finished goods warehouse operations. Preferred experience in end-to-end supply chain related disciplines including in Order-to-Cash
- Languages: Fluent in English and either Spanish
