Description

McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for an Operations Associate I (Working a fixed 12 hour shifts with prescheduled days off over a 7 day work week.) The start time is 6:00pm – 6:30am, located in Lancaster, PA.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL® acetaminophen products, ZYRTEC® and BENADRYL® allergy medicines, IMODIUM® A-D anti-diarrheal, MOTRIN® IB, , and SUDAFED® nasal decongestants.

The Operations Associate I is responsible for assembling and/or producing products according to detailed manufacturing processes. The Operations Associate I is also accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines.

Will operate all packaging equipment/machinery involved in the batch packaging of over-the-counter products at McNeil in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures. Will be required to maintain accurate records/documentation related to work in progress, clean equipment, perform in process quality checks. Will also assist in changeover tasks including purge, clean and setup, advise supervisor of line issues, and identify and elevate all immediate and potential quality, safety, or environmental issues (material, procedure, and process) as observed

The Operations Associate I will perform appropriate SAP transactions, and retrieve required materials per BOM to complete the packaging order. Must operate Packaging equipment/machinery to package product as per applicable SOPs. Package order quantity as per SOPs and Packaging Batch Record (includes quality checks, component staging, etc), clear the line and reconcile materials. Will return unused packaging materials to appropriate point-of-use storage area. Must follow all applicable SOPs and batch records. Maintains an updated and current training record (adhere to training timelines in Compliance Wire, etc). Will participate in Safety initiatives and programs.

Qualifications


This position requires a High school diploma or its equivalent. At least 1 year experience working in a manufacturing operation is preferred, with experience working in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical, food or dairy industries strongly preferred. Previous experience with high-speed packaging equipment is preferred. Experience with computerized materials management and document tracking systems preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to frequently lift/carry 1-10 lbs., and occasionally lift/carry 11-50 lbs. Must be able to lift from the ground to knees and waist and from the waist to shoulders. Basic computer skills, including Windows Operating Systems and applications or equivalent are required. Must be able to work a fixed 12 hour shift with prescheduled days off over a 7 day work week and obtain forklift license.
