Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, Inc provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
The Logistics Center Associate II (LCII) – 2nd shift will perform a variety of order picking/packing, receiving and housekeeping tasks in accordance with defined job processes with a focus on safety and quality in a 24-hour, global Logistics Center supporting multiple operating company franchises. Perform additional operations using a forklift, clamps, banders, wrappers and other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack and stage product. The LCII will interact with the computer system to perform assigned functions, as well as comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Provide constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Team Leader to ensure the achievement of the Logistics Center objectives. Perform the above functions primarily for the Cordis business in the Memphis Logistics Center.
Qualifications
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent degree required. A minimum of 1 year of distribution/warehouse experience is required. Healthcare industry experience preferred. Experience in a cold chain warehouse/distribution environment is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Warehouse Management Systems preferred. Experience operating a forklift required. Forklift certification required. Must be customer-service oriented with the ability to function in a high volume distribution operation. The ability to read, write legibly, count and do simple math equations required. Must have the ability to follow policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete work tasks accurately and efficiently. Must have excellent verbal communication skills and demonstrated collaboration skills with team members and management. The ability to work overtime and some holidays is required. Must be able to work 2nd shift (2:30 pm start time). The ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, stand and/or walk on concrete floors 75% of the time and bend, twist and perform repetitive tasks are required. All MLC employees must also pass periodic and random drug testing as a condition of initial and continued employment.
