McNEIL PPC, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for multiple Team Leader openings on 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shift. This position will be located in Lititz, PA.

The Team Leader has broad responsibilities for production colleagues and activities that are expected to result in the output of goods and services related to the operation of high speed packaging lines and/or manufacturing platforms to meet internal and external customer expectations for quality, timeliness and cost. The Team Leader will lead these activities in a manner that protects the health and safety of all colleagues and is in full compliance of all regulatory policies and procedures. The Team Leader will help create a work environment that embraces change by providing the leadership needed to implement and execute goals to meet business requirements. The Team Leader will be responsible for: partnering with operations, functional and management personnel to develop and implement methods and processes that optimize the flow and use of material, machine and human resources. This individual will provide the leadership necessary to develop and implement cross-functional team to improve aspects of operations while driving a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture through the use of Lean/Six-Sigma strategies and tools. The Team Leader will directly supervise all hourly colleagues in the performance of their duties, coordinates manpower in support of achieving schedules while monitoring and driving employee and equipment productivity (maximize uptime and efficiency) to achieve optimum results in the areas of quality, production, health and safety, costs of goods, etc. The Team Leader will overlap with other shift Team Leaders in order to share updates, provide communications and summarize the activities of the evening. The Team Leader assures that direct reports are fully and effectively trained and work in compliance with applicable S.O.Ps, cGMPs, regulatory requirements, safety, environmental, and Company Policies. This individual will develop and monitor budgets and will have an understanding of financial drivers. The Team Leader will facilitate communication activities, and acts as liaison between hourly colleagues and other leaders at the site. This individual will understand and ensure adherence to collective bargaining agreement and will communicate operational information.

Qualifications


A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; A degree focused in a technical discipline is preferred; A Master's or other advanced degree is preferred; A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a regulated environment is required; A minimum of three (3) years of proven supervisory experience is required; Previous experience in a healthcare manufacturing environment preferred; Previous manufacturing and packaging experience is preferred; Strong analytical skills are required; Excellent technical writing skills are required; Proficiency with MS Office is required; Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication, listening, negotiating and problem-solving/decision-making skills are required; Previous experience with managing department budgets is preferred; Demonstrated project management experience is preferred; Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification is preferred; OSHA Training is preferred. The position will require up to 10% travel based on business needs.
