STERRAD has been the reliable choice in surgical instrument sterilization. It uses low-temperature, hydrogen peroxide gas plasma technology to sterilize a wide range of instruments efficiently, effectively and safely.
The GLOSAIR Automated Area Decontamination solution is proven in the prevention of hospital associated infections. GLOSAIR is essential for infection control in hospitals and works well alongside manual cleaning methods in healthcare facilities. ASP’s signature infection prevention product, it consistently protects patients against pathogens of key concern, such as MRSA, C. difficile and norovirus.
An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a high performing team as an Account Manager for the ASP division covering the South of England.
The Role
The position is field based and you will need to live within the territory boundary, but ideally be located within the M4 Corridor. The territory will include Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and South Wales. You will be responsible for promoting a strong portfolio of both capital and consumable products, including STERRAD low temperature gas plasma sterilizer, GLOSAIR Automated Area Decontamination system, Endoscopic Instrumentation reprocessing biocides and detergents, ScopeValet Bag & Tag, our endoscope transportation system.
Working closely with the other member of the ASP team, you will be in a position to deliver outstanding value to our clinical and non-clinical customers and in turn transform patient care through innovation. Your ability to effectively plan and implement clinical added value services e.g. instrument damage reduction will be critical to driving the adoption of new surgical instrument reprocessing procedures and the use of our products. In use product training and demonstration of our GLOSAIR Automated Area Decontamination will also be a key part of this role.
Qualifications
The Person
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in medical sales and have the emotional maturity and competence to build good relationships based on trust, respect and the ability to affect consultative sales. Personal drive, commitment, organisational and business skills are key qualities required to deliver outstanding results within this rapidly growing area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in dealing with complex stakeholder management and gaining access to the financial decision makers within the NHS. Medical Device experience would be hugely advantageous as equally would be a background in Theatres, Sterilization or Decontamination.
