This position provides global leadership to: implement fundamental structures for Good Engineering (including Oversight and Governance of Project Delivery Process and Site Level Infrastructure Capital) and Project Management Practices which are a pre-requisite to compliance activities; Commissioning &Qualifications Lead, FPX (Flawless Project Execution) Lead, Departmental Benchmarking (IPA ( Indipendent Project Analysis) focus coordinator and interface), Overall World Wide Engineering and Technical Operations PM Project Portfolio Management, WWETO PM Budget tracking.

This leader will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders:

Internal: PM Teams, Capital Construction Facilities Services, Engineering & Platform Solutions, Real Estate & Strategic Planning, Facility Management, Strategy & Services

External: Make, Make Engineering (Centers of Excellence/Platform), Quality, EHS, Finance.

Owns PM project portfolio management process, including obtaining agreement on project definitions and priorities, and ensuring that overall portfolio stay on plan by its proactive tracking and by identifying any resource conflicts and proposing ways for removing obstacles, which may involve negotiations at a senior level.

Provide Oversight and Governance for the implementation of Project Delivery Process and Good Engineering & Project Management Practices including the development and deployment of the guidance, templates and training.

Integrates C&Q/SD&V process in Project Delivery Methodologies

Provide Leadership to C&Q and FPX functions and teams,

Establish plans for talent development, diversification, and professional development for the group,

Ensure metrics for engineering performance are met and plans are in place to provide continuous improvement.

Ensure collaboration of PM Systems group across other functional areas, establishing effective working relationships with global partners.

Ensure application of efficient work practices for core group processes and ensure continued improvement and update of these practices with lessons learned.

Manage the finances of the PM group and overall WWETO Budget coordination with all group leads to achieve yearly results.

Develop yearly business plans, departmental and personal objectives that support the overall company goals .

Complies with all training requirements to perform duties of the job.

Meets all mobility demands to perform duties and/or fulfill responsibilities of the job.

Qualifications


This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years Related Business Experience. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred, along with a Professional Engineer’s License. Multi region experience is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing staff is required for this position.

Proven successful track record of Leadership of Globally Diverse organizations and teams is required

Ability to interface with Senior Leaders across Sectors and Functions (Supply Chain, R&D, Tax, Legal, and Op Co) is preferred.

Knowledge of PM methodologies and processes including PDP, SLIC and FPX are preferred.

Proven Experience in Engineering Leadership on Projects Development and Execution is required.

Knowledge of Project Portfolio Development and Deployment is required.

Knowledge of impactful training methods is preferred

Knowledge in the development of processes is preferred

Ability to establish external relationships and benchmarking is preferred

Demonstrated cross enterprise influence and deployment experience is preferred.

Global and enterprise-wide mindset is preferred.

Forges internal collaboration across levels of the enterprise is preferred.

Translate insights into innovative and viable solutions that create value is preferred.

Written and verbal communication skills are required. Business Acumen is preferred.

Mature understanding of GxP’s, EHS, HCC, Finance and Cost Controlling and Sites Operations and Supply Chain Management are preferred.

This position could require up to 40% travel both domestic and international.
