Description
The position is designed to lead External Manufacturing (Make) in China by taking primarily responsibility for the EHS/Quality Compliance, Customer Service and Cost as virtual plant leader for EM end-to-end. This is only possible through close interdependent partnering internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
In addition to External Manufacturing, this position also has an extended responsibility of leading End-to-End Supply Chain Integration of Elsker, a newly acquired company in China.
The scope of key responsibilities includes:
- Primarily responsible for the leadership and successful implementation of programs & projects related to China EMs in support of business strategies and objectives.
- Represent AP EM in China. Serve as the vital linkage for the sites via strong collaboration with other regional EM leaders and other site EM groups. Actively participate in all site activities that require EM support.
- Lead and drive Quality and EHS Compliance of China EMs by collaborating with regional Compliance Leaders and Q&C partners.
- Drive Make Excellence of China EMs
- Collaborate with EM Source for the Global or Regional network optimization initiatives
- As a core member of China integrated Supply Chain team, collaborating closely with all in-country Supply Chain functions.
- Take primary responsibility of people development for China EM by connecting with Regional/Local succession planning and talent pipeline
- Take the leadership of Elsker End-to-End Supply Chain Integration in terms of Compliance, Customer Service, Cost, covering Plan, Source, Make and Deliver
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA is preferred
- High Ethical value and Credo-based
- Strong Collaborative Leadership and Influencing Skills
- Effective communication and presentation skill
- Decision Making / Problem Solving
- Knowledge on Financial business processes and budgeting
- Make Excellence knowledge & experience
- Results driven and able to work independently to deliver
