For our offices in Zug, we are looking for a

EMEA Network Planning Analyst ASP

The purpose of this position is to ensure smooth supply in satellite warehouses to reach customer service level and inventory target and make recommendations to continuously improve replenishments. This position is also responsible to develop EMEA inventory business planning; inventory target setting process for base business, new products, events and externally manufactured products; Obsolete inventory planning and management; Continuous inventory management to attain franchise goals and achieve process improvements; Run Inventory Entitlement model in EMEA.

Main Responsibilities
• Perform the interplant DRP releases between main hub and distribution centers.
• Support Key Account Representatives (KARs) by providing Available To Promise (ATP) / Back Order (BO) reports.
• Communicate on supply issues root cause, corrective action and full recovery date to marketing organization and management.
• Manage Fair Share Allocation of products in short supply to all countries involved.
• Provide leadership for inventory management initiatives that improve customer service.
• Run Inventory Entitlement model in EMEA
• Run monthly inventory reviews with Planning, External Operations and Finance addressing performance to plan, driver of variances and recovery to planned level.
• Create and maintain policies and procedures for inventory reviews, inventory levels, inventory tracking and report generation.
• Monitor and measure reports from the system database and or other systems as appropriate to track inventory levels.
• Provide leadership through initiatives that promote continuous improvement.
• Work in coordination with the global supply chain group and maintain good relations with global customers.
• Provide inventory reports and feedback to the organization in a timely manner.
• Lead results through others on the overall implementation of key business initiatives such as Attainment of Inventory Targets, Customer Service Initiatives such as the Global S&OP deployment, launch of New Product Strategies or APS Systems Implementations.
• Assess performance of the interplant DRP releases between main hub and distribution centers
• Build collaborative partnerships with Business Partners
• Projects, analysis, and other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications


Education and/or Experience
• Minimum 3-4 years experience in Supply Chain
• BS/BA in technical discipline / business / supply chain (logistics) or equivalent
• MBA, CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management), APICS certification (American Production & Inventory Control Society) preferred
• Experience with inventory management, production planning, capacity planning and / or manufacturing
• Strong analytical and problem Solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong organizational skills needed
• Strong customer service orientation, personal accountability and attention to detail required
• Ability to benchmark and identify new processes
• Ability to convert a business need into a system solution
• Interpersonal skills: Contacts with IT, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Quality Assurance
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office applications with MS Excel advance level
• Fluency in English is a must

Other Skills and Abilities
• Personal computer skills, Windows: word processing, project planning, presentation & e-mail
• Experience with APS or other Advanced Planning Systems
• Understanding of Kanban and Lean processes
• Knowledge of ERP systems including master scheduling (MPS), capacity planning (CRP, material planning (MRP), Inventory control and order management. ASP information systems, including, but not limited to: JDE, APS, COGNOS
• Experience working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
