EMEA Demand Planning Analyst ASP
This position main responsibility is to provide analysis for worldwide demand management activities for tax substance product category and global or regional forecasting for other ASP products. It is also to insure the data integrity within ASP’s demand planning system. This includes providing statistical forecast input and performance data for use in sales and operations planning meetings; ensuring data integrity across the demand planning system.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide analysis to support & drive the monthly S&OP process. Interface with middle to top-level management and utilize multiple statistical models to develop and drive consensus forecasts for assigned business segments.
• Facilitate interim forecast discussions and updates with global supply chain partners and internal cross-functional business partners (Marketing, Sales, and Finance) to clarify demand requirements and drive improvements in forecast accuracy.
• Responsible for achieving Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) targets, set every year.
• Responsible for forecast accuracy reporting and forecast improvement initiatives.
• Provide input for Business Plan process.
• Support NPI introduction from forecasting standpoint.
• Participate in cross-functional/cross-J&J projects and activities relating to supply chain process improvements/re-engineering.
• Projects, analysis, and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
• Minimum 3-4 years experience in Supply Chain
• BS/BA in technical discipline / business / supply chain (logistics) or equivalent
• MBA, CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management), APICS certification (American Production & Inventory Control Society) preferred
• Strong analytical/quantitative skills
• Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills (experience in Sr. level presentation)
• Demonstrated strength in interdependent partnering and team management
• Self starter – able to work independently and within a matrixed environment
• Strong PC skills for data analysis and presentation of complex information
• Manages complexity and implements positive change
• Production planning, capacity planning, inventory control, manufacturing and/or master scheduling experience preferred
• Medical Device and Quality Systems Regulations preferred
• Experience in enterprise system implementations preferred
• Fluency in English is a must
