Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newly created position for a BusinessDevelopment Manager for MD&D to develop a number of our business activitiesin Iran supporting the General Manager in execution of strategy. The role is to be based either in Turkey,UAE or the UK, but with extensive travel to Iran.
This position will suit someone who is comfortable with dealing with acomplex market which is guided by licenses and business guidelines.
Country Business Strategy(Sales and Commercial):
- Craft and implement country strategy to achieve all business goals
- Manage and operate within agreed regional budgets, achieve sales and profit targets to deliver System Net Income targets
- Collection of data and development of StrategicPlans
- Customer database development
- Identify and initiate product safety needsthrough training programs
- Keep abreast of the regulatory landscape and identify needs
Distributor Management:
- Implement Commercial Plans by end of January each year
- Engage distributor teams to deliver toCommercial Plans
- Standardise and implement new price reviews across sub-region.
- Select appropriate Distributor companies andfollow Due-Diligence criteria
- Ensure distributors are aligned to OFAC, UKtreasury, FCPA, HCC and Credo values
Other:
- Provide specialist franchise support to other Market Development Managers/BDM’s where applicable in collaboration with MISSA management
- Assist head office commercial team with pricing recommendation
- Work closely with customer service colleagues athead office to ensure shipping expectations are met
- Ensure timely launch and management of new product introductions in liaison with Franchise Management Team
- Take an active role in the annual Business Planning process

Qualifications
Education:
University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
Skill Sets and Competencies:
- Self starter with can do attitude
- Results driven
- Strong interpersonal and influence management skills
- Ability to master complexity and find solutions to overcome obstacles
- Fluent in both written and spoken Persian and English language
Years of experience:
Generally requires (3-5) years related experience
Travel:
Approximately 50% of travel will be required within Iran
