Description
- Performing routine and complex testing in compliance with laboratory methods and procedures to support the manufacturing and timely delivery of products to customers
- Compendia testing
- Raw material, In-process and finished goods testing when thorough training has been completed
- Initiation and participation during investigations for non-conforming laboratory tests results
- Collecting and preparing laboratory records for evaluation following good documentation practices
- Troubleshooting methodology or instruments problems
- Communicating business related issues or opportunities to their immediate supervisor
- Operating in accordance with current GMPs with regard to documenting, testing and maintaining accurate laboratory records
- Performing daily calibrations/verifications and routine maintenance od laboratory instrumentation and equipment according to current SOPs
- Assisting in various other duties which contribute to the organization and function of the laboratory
- Ensuring personal and company compliance with all federal, state local and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Manage environmental M Program, prepare quarterly EM trending charts
- Perform monthly and quarterly report for EM, dose audit and bioburden
- Manage bioburden and dose audit sample and testing coordination and follow purchase order of microbiology materials
- Manage lab equipment cleaning and temperature verification
- Execution on controlled manufacturing for ethylene oxide and gamma sterilization
- Manage the microbiology budget
- Providing initial review of data generated by peers and contract laboratories
- Providing assistance in training
Qualifications
- Bachelor of since degree is required, a master of science degree is preferred
- 2-5 years related experience
- English and French spoken and written fluently
- Ability to work independently to perform testing with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communications kills
- Able to interact well with peers and colleagues
- Self-motivated
