General Summary:
Directs the operations of the Maintenance team in a high volume Medical Device manufacturing environment.
Plans, designs, and oversees the maintenance of equipment, ensuring leading edge process , systems are in place to drive best in class performance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prioritizes, assigns, and coordinates work performed by production maintenance team.
Establishes, reviews and communicates plans (work/project scope, cost, schedule, resource requirements, and risks) for maintenance activity execution required to meet value stream business objectives.
Manages, mentors, develops, and evaluates individuals on the maintenance team; Implements performance improvement plans as needed.
Manages third party service providers and ensures achieving targets on key indicators of quality, workmanship, costs.
Develops world class systems using the ME2 program to drive efficiencies and savings in maintenance costs
Establishes and oversees departmental budget and implements cost controls to ensure budget is not exceeded.
Monitors quality and safety of work and timely completion of same
Complies with all GMP / Regulatory requirements of a Medical Device manufacturer
Qualifications
Experience Required:
• Min 10 years of experience in a high volume medical device manufacturing environment
• At least 5 years Supervisory / Management experience
• Proven track record of implementing preventative maintenance best practices
• Manufacturing / Industrial / Mechanical Engineering Degree Qualified
