The QC Technician will assists in process monitoring, identifying and recording any product quality problems and initiating recommendations. This individual will measure the parameters of the product interpreting, and ensuring conformance to the specification limits. Incumbent will perform package inspection for quality specifications and audits of process and finished goods. Select individual will communicate all deviations and perform all work with adherence to safety procedures.
The QC Technician adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. Incumbent will coordinate quality certifications and re-certification programs. This individual will be responsible for Quality Training Program/lab support program. QC Technician inputs data and performs analytical analysis of data and information. Incumbent will perform other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
High School Degree or equivalent is required. Individuals who have worked in an FDA regulated environment would be preferred. Incumbents who have visual lens inspection certification/experience would be preferred. Individuals are required to have at least one year of manufacturing or QC experience. Incumbents who have at least one year of lens parameter audit experience would be preferred. Individuals who have more than three years of production experience would be preferred. Incumbents are required to be proficient with Microsoft Office. Individuals who have worked with LIMS Software would be preferred. Incumbents are required to be proficient with data entry. Individuals who have worked with Metrology equipment in a manufacturing environment would be preferred.
