We are looking for a Safety Technician (Temporary) for the Local Operating Company. The overall purpose of the job is to contribute to the development and implementation of safety initiatives and to monitor Compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
Main Activities / Tasks
- Evaluate and implement occupational safety, industrial hygiene and ergonomics programs
- Assist in tthe development, implementation, communication and maintenance of OSH management systems and procedures
- Deliver technical training and health and safety awareness programs in support of company´s hazard / risk profile
- Ensure proper implementation of actions included in the safe fleet program
- Implement effective health and safety auditing / assessment programs
- Implement Contractor Program
- Statistical reporting / data collection and analysis

Assist wellness staff to provide awareness education and intervention programs that encourage healthy lifestyles.

University / Bachelor Degree or Equivalent (Science)

2-4 years related experience
