This Calibration Tech II supports Johnson & Johnson Credo and philosophy. Adheres to the Janssen Compliance Program, including following all standard operating procedures for calibration, operations safety, and requirements outlined in the FDA 21CFR for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Maintain and calibrate instruments in use at Vacaville Plant, including working in a GMP clean zone. Maintain department files and documentation using local file control and MAXIMO work order management system. Take direction from an expert technician and job planner to work independently once trained. You will be responsible for driving the Janssen culture through LEAN methods and customer focus. This individual will be accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers. Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

Qualifications


A High School Degree or GED is required. Associates Degree is preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience with calibrating equipment is required. Regulated industry experience is preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to prioritize workload of their team in a constantly changing environment. Must possess the ability to use personal computers and standard software applications found in a professional business setting. Any experience with CMMS systems is a plus. Must be flexible and have strong interpersonal skills and be able to collaboratively work with personnel from other groups. Must be highly organized. Will be required to work any schedule that aligns with the business needs of the company. Experience with LEAN tools and concepts preferred.
